About
Have patience with everything unresolved and try to love the questions themselves (Rilke)
My story
I began my academic life in environmental science and then completed a masters in theological studies before undertaking a masters in counselling psychology. I spent over a decade training and working in Toronto and Vancouver in acute care, orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, long-term care, and palliative care.
Post-counselling degree, I interned for 12-months at a Vancouver not-for profit counselling centre that was oriented to an Adlerian conceptualization of the individual. This therapeutic stance is positive, encouraging, and believes that people can change for the better. We are works in progress.
For information on how being an Alderian-oriented therapist informs my client conceptualizations, please go to the For Therapists page.
I am in private practice coming to you from Vancouver, B.C.
